What happens if a physician does not prescribe?

Published September 15, 2026. Updated September 15, 2026. Describes the process as it works today.

Quick answer

If the physician who reviews your file decides that GLP-1 treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, you are not charged. Nothing was collected at checkout, so there is no refund to wait for and no consultation fee to absorb. Medication is prescribed only if a licensed physician determines it is appropriate.

Why the answer can be no

A licensed physician reviews your medical history, current medications and the conditions that rule GLP-1 treatment out, and the physician can decline to prescribe. That decision belongs to the physician, not to Majesta Health, and the physician may also ask for more information or a visit before deciding.

An approval that arrives before anyone has read your file is not a medical decision. We do not promise approval, and no telehealth company should.

What you receive either way

Whether or not treatment is prescribed, you receive the physician's decision in writing through your account and by email. If treatment is not prescribed, no charge is made and your card authorization is released.

Frequently asked questions

Is approval guaranteed?
No. Medication is prescribed only if a licensed physician determines it is appropriate, and the physician can decline.
Am I charged the consultation fee if I am not approved?
No. The $20 medical consultation fee is part of the first-month price, which is charged only on approval.
Can I reapply later?
You can complete a new assessment later. A physician reviews each file on its own.
